Hillcrest Walkathon & Carnival 2010

This is Hillcrest’s second biggest fundraiser of the year and is a fun and interactive day for kids of every age from pre-school to High School. For families with current Hillcrest students, now is the time to get those permission slips turned in. Click here for other details.

Hillcrest school welcomes its neighbors, friends and families from other schools to visit and enjoy a great day of old fashioned fun.

• Carnival booths, $1 - $2 each
• Inflatable obstacle course and slide
• Teacher splash booth
• Photo Booth
• Twisted balloons from our favorite clown, Budderball
• Face painting

BBQ Lunch

Come hungry and enjoy our fresh roasted coffee and espresso bar with delectable pastries, enjoy a satisfying Tri-Tip Barbeque sandwich, hosted by our friends at the VILLAGE MARKET!   Beef hot dogs and veggie burgers also for sale.

Walkers’ Checklist

Things will be a little bit different this year, so be sure to take a minute to check out the checklist!

• Bring a water bottle! It’s so important that our walkers stay hydrated—especially because it’s usually quite hot on the big day. Refills will be available.
• The Walkathon officially starts at 9:00 a.m. No early birds, please!
• All walkers will receive a delicious—and complementary—BBQ lunch, courtesy of Village Market.
• All walkers MUST check in & MUST check out at the registration table. Upon check-in, kids will receive their commemorative t-shirt.

Volunteer Schedule

Please confirm your Walkathon volunteer shift. We thank you for your patience in understanding that these assignments are subject to change. You will be given a specific assignment when you check-in at the volunteer table. Please check-in 10 minutes in advance of your shift start time. If you have questions, please contact Kirsten Hosemann at 220-4974 on Saturday. We appreciate your help and look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
