Middle School Field Trip 2012
Pinnacles National Monument
Trip Date: May 15-18, 2012
"Pinnacles National Monument is an excellent outdoor education site. Located along the transition between the Coast Ranges and San Joaquin Valley, the Monument is a wonderful mosaic of chaparral-covered slopes, brilliant wildflowers during the spring, and numerous spire rock formations. The monument is the last remains of an ancient volcano, eroded over geologic time by water, heat, and frost. Animal life is abundant. The rock climbing possibilities are varied and numerous." NAL

Chaperones:
Our trip chaperones have been determined: Barbara Benzwi, Melinda Blackorby, Wayne Diamond, Pat Piette, Steven Raphael, Sam Rudel and Steve Spielman will soon begin preparing themselves for their chaperone duties. They'll be joined by Ms. Massey, Ms. Scruggs, Ms. Hines and me. Together we'll guide and care for the students on our multi-day adventure. Thank you to everyone who put their name in the hat - without your support, Hillcrest could not make this trip happen.
Diana Biondo, Middle School field trip coordinator
