Middle School Community Service Details
Goals & Expectations: Every Middle School student will have the opportunity to connect and feel ownership of their school through their service to the younger students, and the Hillcrest community as a whole, by completing a minimum of 4 hours of service per marking period, or 12 hours per semester.
Responsibility: Each student is responsible for maintaining a log of their service with adult signatures verifying the hours of service. Students must present a signed log at the end of each marking period.
Parent Support: Volunteer grade level coordinators help students find service activities that fit their schedule and that they find interesting and fulfilling, as well as keep a record of class service hours.
