Wednesday, 9-1-10 Homework
English: Prepare 2 to 3 minute summer reading book report presentation. Concentrate on presenting the essence of the book, not just a summary--think of the presentation as a commercial for your book. Use index cards to remind you of the major points. Your presentation should include the title, author, the essence (NOT a summary) of your book, and whether you would recommend your book and the reasons pro or con.
Math 6 (Kloess): Practice Workbook (PWB) p. 2, #1-26. Due Thursday, 9-2-10. Study for 1.2 quiz on exponents, Thursday, 9-2-10.
Math 7 (Kloess): Text p.6, #5-27 odds. Due Thursday, 9-2-10. Study for 1.1 quiz on variables & expressions, Thursday, 9-2-10.
Announcements: Bring in a composition notebook (not spiral bound!) for writing workshop. Due Friday, 9-3-10.
Return signed Demerit & cell policy sheets.
