Spelling/Vocabulary: Word list for the week of 5-26-09, with class definitions:

advantage, n, a beneficial circumstance.
agony: n, great physical pain or suffering.
anorak: n, a hooded, pullover jacket.
bleak: adj, gloomy, dreary or depressing.
impertinent: adj, rude, insolent, or impudent.
incline: n, a slope or slant.
strangulation: n, the act or cutting off air to the lungs; choke
submission: n, the act of yielding, surrendering, or being obedient.
tattered: adj, torn or ragged.
unconscious: adj, knocked out, insensible.

This week's spelling/vocabulary homework & schedule:
Thursday: Write each word 3X. Study for test. Due Friday
Friday: Spelling/vocabulary test. Hand in week's homework.
